moon song

Hush little darling,
Just rest in your bed,
Dream of sweet angels,
Don’t think of the dead.

Hush little darling,
Don’t spill any tears,
Despite your young age,
You are wise as the years.

Hush little darling,
You need rest as you grow,
Think of your dreamworld,
Forget what you know.

Hush little darling,
Don’t shiver with fear,
These adults don’t know you,
They think children can’t hear.

Hush little darling,
As winter draws near,
Just remember the summer,
And don’t cry little dear,

Hush little darling,
Although Daddy’s gone,
And Mummy won’t say why,
We know something’s wrong.

Hush little darling,
And just wait for sunrise,
As daybreak is dawning,
You’ll soar in the skies.

I liked this one. It was well written and although you did not use larger words, it fit well. Great job!

I really liked it! i thought the repetition was very effective (something i've yet to master myself) and i liked how it progressed. Awesome!

Ah!the poem is actually very sweet.

I think this would have gone under lyrics.

The rythm was fine.

The ending of the song is nice.
